Lately, D’banj has been
telling anyone who cares to listen that he’s off the market. Yes, off
the dating radar. He’s taken (word to Liam Neeson).
Even when I tell them I’m single’,
they don’t believe. So these days, I tell them what they want to hear. I
mean look at me, at my state, would you expect that I won’t be seeing
anyone?’, was what he said to the guests at comedian Tee-A’s ‘Tymeout With Tee A‘ concert in December 2012.
To buttress his point, D’banj in a recent interview with Toolz on ‘The Juice‘ stressed that there’s only one ‘Kokolet’ in his life.
We may have found the woman who’s stolen the Kokomaster’s heart? Is Jennifer Obayuwana, the daughter of the Chairman of Polo, John Obayuwana the one who’s got D’banj in her palms? The lady of his dreams; the one he’ll leave all other Kokolettes for?
‘She’s been around for a long time, you
guys just don’t know her’, D’banj said in the interview with Toolz.
We’ve been told by those who know that Miss Obayuwana and D’banj have
been ‘friends for years’.
Jennifer posted a picture of herself
congratulating her ‘boo’ over his December 27 Koko Concert. With a
few blogs reporting about their relationship, she has set now her
Instagram and Twitter accounts to ‘private’.
D’banj has been linked to a number of other women including Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji.
