Kim Kardashian Will Block Cameras From 'Private' Birth

 Kim Kardashian

New York — Kim Kardashian is a lot of things: a reality television star, a business mogul and fashion designer. But there's one thing she is not: a private person.

Yet, it seems like the woman who gave fans a front-row seat into her lavish wedding, watched her breakdown over her crumbling marriage and battle it out with her sisters on numerous occasions, might be changing her mind on just how much she is willing to share with millions of reality-show followers.

Kardashian is just three months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, and while Ryan Seacrest did admit that viewers will see Kim's pregnancy on the upcoming season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," when the baby is due in July, cameras will be off.

"I'm going to keep that private," Kardashian told MTV News of whether she will be filming the birth of her child.

This may come as a surprise to some who are used to seeing monumental moments in the Kardashians' lives. Kourtney Kardashian famously televised the births of both of her children, Mason and Penelope, and her two children will be featured regularly on the upcoming season of "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami."

However, if you're expecting to see baby Kimye joining in on playtime with her cousins while cameras are rolling, think again, because Kim admits that she is "going to keep that private too."

Now that Kim has decided to draw the curtain on some major moments coming up in her personal life, it also seems like she will be taking a step back from the spotlight as well.

"I'm hoping to take some time off," Kim said. "And just focus on that and not really work as much for a little bit."
