Feels good to be home…

In an upcoming interview with NET, Banky W told us he’d be spending the most of January 2013 on holiday with his family in Washington D.C, U.S after a working his butt off with his EME last year.
The R&B singer recently posted a photo of his mother who he fondly calls Momma W, younger brother Funmi and himself in the U.S Capital.

Here’s a brief background of Banky W for those who don’t know…
Bankole Wellington is American born-Nigerian R&B artiste. His father is from Badagry while his mother is from Calabar in Cross River State.

When he was five, he moved back to Nigeria and lived here for 12 years, attending Corona Primary School, Home Science Association Secondary School and Ajao Secondary School all in Lagos.

He then went back to the US for college and studied Industrial Engineering from RPI in New York where he began singing and recording songs and releasing an EP – Undeniable and a debut album ‘Back in the Building‘.

He returned home circa 2008, and the rest, as they say, is history…
